Brian is a registered architect who specializes in Traditional Neighborhood Design. Offering a regional alternative to the current system of automobile-dependent, single-use development has been the focus of Mr. Hendrickson's private practice. In 2001 he and partner Kevin Klinkenberg created Town Planning Studio as a joint venture with some of the premiere national practitioners of the New Urbanism. With a background in urban design (he has been a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism since 1997), and more than 10 years of experience in educational, residential, commercial and retail architecture, Brian brings creative vision and proven expertise to 180° Design Studio's TND projects. Additionally, Brian volunteers for the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association, and sits on the board of Neighborhood Housing Services of Kansas City. He has been a featured speaker for the Mid America Regional Council and the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City.
