In 2009, after several years performing the responsibilities of on-site Town Architect for a DPZ-planned Texas Gulf coast TND, Chad established a one-man practice. Recent projects include coastal and water-front residences, as well as amenity structures. Chad’s work is guided by his strong desire to design buildings in a “timeless expression”... more specifically, eschewing trends and achieving a lasting beauty. His emphasis on the study of local and regional architectural precedents, to guide and refine the vision for a project, echoes his professional philosophy... always be a student of one’s craft, even while mentoring others.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma’s College of Architecture, the next decade included Senior and Lead Design positions which took him from the Florida Keys on the East Coast, to Sacramento, CA on the West Coast. In addition, Chad has designed residences located in Oklahoma, Nevada, and Texas.
