   Christine G. H. Franck is a designer and educator with a practice in New York City. Before establishing her own office in 1998 to focus on classical design and education, she interned with the office of Allan Greenberg, Architect in Washington, DC. Her work includes such diverse projects as a 5,000 square foot residence on Figure Eight Island, North Carolina, which she designed and decorated; the redecoration of hi-rise apartment buildings and lobbies throughout the Upper East Side of New York City; and others. In addition she writes and speaks frequently on the topic on modern classical architecture. She has lectured throughout the country and abroad and is a columnist for New Old House magazine. Her work also includes the publication of Jose M. Allegue: A Builder's Legacy, which she authored and designed; and the volunteer development of the professional and academic programs of The Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America from 1998-2005. In 1998 she was appointed the first Executive Director of the Institute of Classical Architecture. Ms. Franck now serves on the Board of Directors of the ICA&CA and the Management Committee of INTBAU. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Master of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame. Her design and written work has been published in New Old House Magazine, Traditional Building Magazine, Period Homes Magazine, Architecture, The New York Times, Residential Architect, The Classicist No. 6, A Decade of Art and Architecture and exhibited at The Art of Building Cities, and A Decade of Art and Architecture.

   In 2002 Ms. Franck was honored by HRH The Prince of Wales with the first Public Service Award of the Prince's Foundation for her outstanding contribution to the study of architecture and design.
