Chris Rogers is a registered architect in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and Georgia and holds an NCARB certificate. He earned Master of Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and focused his studies in graduate school on Urban Design and Classicism. He is a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional), a member of CNU (Congress for the New Urbanism), and the ICA&CA (Institute of Classical Architecture and Classical America). His interest in classical architecture and urban design naturally led to an interest in traditional sustainable or “green” design. He is presently serving as the Vice-Chair of the Alabama Chapter of the US Green Building Council.

Blackmon Rogers Architects' practice focuses on green building design based on historical precedent. The practice specializes in applying lessons learned from traditional building forms and materials to residential and light commercial projects. Blackmon Rogers Architects has also developed a body of work in the bespoke home cinema market through a partnership with Auditoria working as designers of the Lumiere Home Cinema.
